Losing Weight in Lockstep

CBS News has a nice little puff piece on Michelle Obama today, and on all the good stuff she's done for everyone and so forth. The article gives some attention to the White House's vegetable garden, and also touches on the First Lady's "Let's Move" campaign:

[H]er concern for the nation's youth has been her top priority since becoming first lady. She started with a battle that's hardly controversial: childhood obesity, which (according to the Centers for Disease Control) has more than doubled in the last 30 years.

Her initiative, a program called "Let's Move," hopes to end childhood obesity within a generation.

"'Let's Move' is not about telling people what to do, but it's about giving people the information so that they know what to do," she said.

Yeah, that's how it always starts, isn't it. Meanwhile, down in Florida, a bunch of kids recently demonstrated their commitment to dropping the pounds:

This year students at Espiritu Santo Catholic School in Safety Harbor participated in "Let's Move" by filling up the schools gymnasium and moving in unison.

"...and moving in unison." Can you get more perfectly symbolic than that?
