I've been brought on as a contributor to Voluntary News, a new website composed of both news and opinion pieces; the site's philosophy "holds that all forms of human association should be voluntary. Voluntary News promotes a peaceful and voluntary world of free markets and free people." In other words, everything I believe! So it's a good fit. Blogger Megan Thompson, who runs the Free Lioness tumblr (and is its eponym), is one of Voluntary's founders.
My first piece on the website is a straight-up news report (well, there's a little anti-statist snark in there) on the burgeoning food freedom movement in the state of Maine: Food Freedom in Maine. All future contributions to Voluntary will be posted here, of course; in the meantime, check them out, there's some good stuff on the website.
